ABOUT JOE
Joe Combs, a name synonymous to the music industry, was born on August 18 in Gainesville, Florida. The second of two sons to an artist/minister father and mother, Marshall and Debbie Combs. Joe grew up in a home filled with a strong passion and love for music.
Throughout Joe’s musical career, he has had many opportunities such as a Grammy nomination , obtaining vocal credits on many notable albums such as Alan Jackson’s Precious Memories II. Joe has performed on many historical stages such as the Grand Ole Opry , Nashvilles TPAC , Berlin Germanys Admiralspalast and many more as well as, continuously touring throughout the United States , Europe and Canada with the legendary Stamps Quartet (Elvis Presleys back up quartet from 1970 till his passing)
While Joe’s career in the music industry is deeply rooted in gospel music, he has always shared a love for country , southern rock and blues music . For most of his career Joe has worked as a back up vocalist or working in the studio as a demo singer but has now decided to take the big step as a solo artist. Joe has always worked hard to write , record and perform good quality music. “I want to create music that everybody can relate to and enjoy whether they are enjoying a day on the lake or cruising down some back dirt road with friends” Joe says.
